We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has so kindly supported us. We are immensely grateful for every bit of help we receive.
Over recent months, we have been incredibly busy caring for the animals through the challenges of drought, followed by severe cold and ice. Sadly, this has meant we havenāt had the time to write a newsletter or update our website as regularly as we would like.
Please check out our Support-Us page for more information on how you can help!
At BAAHland, we promise a lifetime of care and a forever homeĀ to every animal we rescue ā animals who, without intervention, would not have been given a chance at life.
Sheep Updates!

Teddy
Teddy has grown up into a strong character within his flock. He is always pushing to the front, especially when thereās a chance of an extra Rich Tea biscuit! Teddy is the only one with wool on the back of his ears, which Iām sure he will be very pleased about during this cold weather.
Eliza

Eliza would not be here today had we not stepped in. She was born without eyes, and the farmer was not willing to keep her. Eliza does not know any other world of seeing ā she lives confidently using her other senses and the strong bond she shares with her friends.
She enjoys being out in the field but always returns safely to the barn. Throughout winter, she comes in every day, has her coarse mix, and
pushes into the feed tray with everyone else. She wouldnāt have it any other way.

Snowy
Snowy is Elizaās best friend and, in many ways, her eyes ā although when the bedtime biscuits come out, Snowy can sometimes forget her manners!
She bounces around, full of life and joy. Snowy was saved by a very kind lady when she was poorly, who took her into her home. She even bonded with her dog. However, knowing Snowy needed to be with other sheep, she made the loving decision to bring her to us.
Winter Challenges & Daily Care
With freezing temperatures, water sources are constantly icing over, and we must break the ice throughout the day to ensure fresh water is always available. We currently have no electricity on site, something we hope to change this year. Electricity would make an enormous difference, but every penny we have goes toward feeding the animals and purchasing essential medicines.
Rising costs and a shortage of hay have made things even more difficult. Hay prices have more than doubled and are increasingly hard to find. With over 200 mouths to feed, our animals rely entirely on us. You can see their concern now that the grass has gone ā but we will never let them down.
This is a full-time commitment: no days off, no holidays ā just constant care and love.
How Can You Help?
If you are able to help in any way ā through fundraising, volunteering, donating, or simply by downloading the Easyfunding appĀ and choosing BAAHlandĀ ā every purchase you make generates a small donation for us at no extra cost to you.
Please check out our Support UsĀ page. We are seeking volunteers to assist with social media, as keeping up alongside daily animal care has become increasingly challenging.
**Angel Update**

Angel is now in our middle area and remains the gentle, kind lady she has always been. Her ears still bounce as she walks, and she stays by her sonās side ā never to be parted.
I share a very special bond with Angel. She rubs her head against me, and how could I ever refuse to stop and give her a hug?
